School attire

Uniform

Children are expected to maintain high standards in personal appearance. We have a school uniform that we hope all pupils will feel comfortable and happy to wear.

Girls

Black/grey skirt or pinafore, black/grey straight tailored trousers, red sweatshirt or cardigan with school emblem (available from school office), white blouse. In winter a white roll-necked jumper may be worn instead of the blouse. Pupils will also need a plain red tie for special occasions.

For summer, red and white checked dress or grey skirt and white blouse.

Boys

Black/grey trousers, red sweatshirt with school emblem (available from school) and white shirt. In winter a white roll-neck jumper may be worn instead of the shirt. Pupils will also need a plain red tie for special occasions.

For summer, white shirt or white polo shirt with grey shorts.

Footwear

Black flat, sensible shoes should be worn. Trainers are allowed for outdoor games only. Suitable summer sandals can be worn in the summer term/early autumn but no open toes or backs.

Jewellery

No jewellery should be worn; an inexpensive watch is acceptable, but please have name engraved on the back. Children with pierced ears should only wear studs. Studs must be covered with plasters or removed during PE and games lessons.

PE

Indoor PE - Black shorts, T-shirt in House colour with school name (available from school), black plimsolls.

Outdoor - Grey sweatshirts and black jogging trousers or red and black tracksuit, Games trainers/football boots.
(Juniors only)

We ask too that all children bring a named shoe bag in which these can be safely stored.

Cookery and Craft - Clothes required

Children need aprons for Home Economics and from Year I require overalls (often a large old shirt) for Art, Craft and pottery.

IT IS ESSENTIAL FOR ALL CLOTHING INCLUDING SHOES AND PERSONAL ARTICLES TO BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR CHILD‘S NAME.
